The Corn Stick Conundrum

After some feedback about my Friendship Store image post, I decide to personally investigate this mysterious snack food, in a vegetarian-friendly way, of course (sorry, this bag is Garlic Toast flavor. I can't try the bacon-cheese package I originally featured).


Why is that corn cob on the right holding a cilice?


Someone please explain to me how this is an Aromatic Grilled Corn Stick. And why does it taste like cereal with garlic on it??
